Hey there.

Do you have time and interest to play a role in a project?

I'm currently preparing for a very long story, which will probably release in February / March, depending on how smooth things go. This is one project that had quite a bit of history, and I want to make the best of it. So I was thinking of putting a header at the top of every chapter.

This header would be a small bit of scenery right above the title of that chapter. It is meant to get the reader a bit in the mood - and to encourage him/her to read - and thus captures the mood of that specific chapter. Usually, these images would be a photo manipulation, resulting into a certain scene. This could be anything, ranging from wonders in space, to open fields, to science fiction, dark nights, a rainy night, a blue sea, etc. It depends on the story, which offers a large variety, but is mostly situated in ancient buildings, cities, forests, and so on. No horror stuff, more like a mix between fantasy and science fiction, with a subtle hint of romance and a fair bit of comedy.

I see it as a situation where we can both gain profit. I do not pay, but I do give credit for every single header, thus attracting attention to you if the story becomes popular. That, and it seems like something fun to do. On my side, my work would attract more readers and would look a lot more interesting and professional. So basically, by working together on making this good, we can both gain a lot.

Please think it over, and ask me any questions you wish. The first chapters are likely to go online February/March, and I will always let you know what I need for the next chapter right after release.
